PEO introduces the Georadis RT-10 personal monitor of gamma radiation for gamma detection
Detect low level gamma radiation with the Georadis RT-10, search the source and identify the nuclide from a preselected library. There is only one push button for all operations. It normally operates in the automatic mode as described below. In addition there is a manual mode for expert use.

The RT-10 makes it possible to collect a gamma spectrum over 300 seconds if not stopped sooner by pressing the button. In case of a measured nuclide is in the user selectable library then it will be identified. If the measured nuclide is not in the library then the measured peaks will be displayed enabling the operator to relay this information or consult a simple table of peaks supplied with the unit.
The last measured spectrum can easily be downloaded to a palmtop with RT-10 Monitor software and then transferred via email to the relevant radiation safety authority for advice.
