Simulate tumor motion in the thorax (feb’15)

Simulate with the CIRS Dynamic Thorax Phantom tumor movement in the lung

The CIRS Dynamic Thorax Phantom is a precision instrument for research and reduce the impact of the respiratory cycle at the tumor movement in the lung. The system provides reliable, accurate and repeatable three-dimensional movement in a tumor tissue-equivalent phantom. The phantom simulates an average human thorax in shape, proportion and composition.

functionalities

  • Visualization of complex 3D tumor motion in the lung
  • Sub-millimeter accuracy
  • Software sends various imported movement cycles
  • Tissue equivalent of 50keV to 15MeV
  • Usable with TLD MOSFET, Dose Gel, micro-chamber, PET / CT and film
  • The platform movement and technique are compatible with other CIRS phantoms
  • Very user-friendly Windows-based software is included
  • Target motion and parameters are displayed in real-time
