Simulate prostate motion in the pelvic region (feb’15)

Simulate with the CIRS Dynamic Pelvis Phantom prostate motion in the pelvic region

The CIRS Pelvis Phantom is a precision instrument for investigating and minimizing the impact that arises from the prostate of movements in the pelvis. The water equivalent phantom provides reliable, accurate and repeatable two-dimensional target motion. The phantom is designed for end-to-end analysis of the images and dose distribution in IGRT.

The phantom simulates an average human pelvis in the form, proportion and composition. By making use of this system and its software, the movement of the prostate is perfectly reproduced. The included graphical interface, allow simulation of an unlimited variety of movement patterns to.
