On June 6 2024, PEO Medical’s Managing Director Roland van den Bergh and his family will challenge themselves during the Alpe d’HuZes to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer.
The Alpe d’HuZes is a well-known event in which participants climb the legendary Alpe d’Heuz a maximum of six times in one day, with the aim of raising money for KWF, the Dutch Cancer Society. In 2024 KWF is allocating more than 26 million euros for 31 new studies that contribute to a better life with and after cancer.
For professionals involved in cancer treatment and research , giving up is not an option, and this motto will also apply during the climb of the Alpe d’Heuz on June 6. On the first Thursday of June, together with Roland and his family, 5000 participants will cycle, run or walk to climb the Alpe d’Heuz. Every step and every climb will contribute to creating a better future improving the quality of life of people who are confronted with cancer.
We as PEO are very proud that colleagues within our organisation are committed to this wonderful cause.
